Radowo Małe is a municipality located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the central part of the Łobez County, with its seat in the village of the same name. The municipality ranks 61st in the voivodeship in terms of area and 97th in terms of population, with 3,592 inhabitants at the end of 2019. The area of the municipality covers 16.9% of Łobez County, and within its borders lies the Nad Jeziorem Piaski nature reserve as well as forested areas, which account for 26% of its total area. The municipality is also attractive for tourism due to the accessibility of the Ukleja River, which is ideal for kayaking. The transportation infrastructure of the municipality is highlighted by provincial roads, including numbers 147 and 146, as well as the history of a narrow-gauge railway that operated until 1989. The architectural heritage of the municipality includes historical churches, such as those in Radowo Małe and Radowo Wielkie, which are interesting examples of local 17th-century architecture, as well as the palace in Żelmowo. The municipality of Radowo Małe was known as the municipality of Radówko Małe until 1946, and administratively, before 1999, it was part of the Szczecin Voivodeship and Gryfice County. In 2016, the municipality had a budget with revenues of PLN 13.7 million, and public debt amounted to PLN 3.3 million, indicating a stable financial situation. Radowo Małe is a place where history, nature, and local culture intertwine, and its infrastructure and monuments attract both tourists and residents, highlighting the unique character of this part of Poland.
