Radzanów is a rural municipality located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within the Białobrzegi County. It showcases architectural, historical, and cultural richness, while also featuring a diverse geographical structure. Its administrative seat is the town of Radzanów. The municipality covers an area of approximately 82.59 km², dominated by agricultural land (81%) and forests (13%). Radzanów has a long history, dating back to the times of the Kingdom of Poland, when the municipality was established on January 13, 1867. Over time, the town of Wyśmierzyce was also incorporated into it. In 2002, the municipality was inhabited by 3,884 people, and by the end of 2019, this number had increased to 3,887. The municipality is home to several primary schools, including the Dionizy Feliks Czachowski Public Primary School in Bukówno and the Henryk Sienkiewicz Primary School in Rogolin, which aim to support the educational development of local communities. The municipality is surrounded by other municipalities, such as Białobrzegi, Potworów, and Przytyk, fostering local cooperation. The structure of the municipality includes several village districts (sołectwa), such as Bukówno, Czarnocin, and Radzanów, as well as non-administrative villages like Gołosze and Wólka Kadłubska. An interesting fact is that the municipality constitutes 12.92% of the total area of Białobrzegi County.
