The Radziejów Commune is a rural administrative unit located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, within Radziejów County. The seat of the commune is the town of Radziejów, which boasts a rich history dating back to ancient times. The commune's area, covering 92.6 km², is predominantly used for agriculture, accounting for as much as 95% of its total area. The Radziejów Commune was once part of the former Piotrków Commune, established in 1867, which underwent numerous administrative changes. In 1874, the Piotrków Commune was divided, and the Radziejów Commune gained its present significance. In 1919, Radziejów regained its town rights, which significantly influenced the further development of the region. Among its architectural attractions, the commune takes pride in registered historical monuments, such as the manor complex in Biskupice from the early 20th century, the church complex in Broniewo featuring a church from 1860 and a belfry from 1857, and the manor complex in Płowce, dating back to 1759. The commune also includes numerous village councils (sołectwa), such as Biskupice, Broniewo, Czołowo, and Płowce, as well as other smaller settlements that form a diverse community.
