The Regional Museum in Trzebinia, opened on August 25, 2010, focuses on the history of industry in the region and mining traditions. Located at Grunwaldzka Street 1, on the site of the former "Siersza" mine, the museum leverages its historical context by showcasing a winding tower and a building with a hoisting machine. Initially established as the Museum of the Trzebinia Land in 1996, the institution began its activities thanks to the efforts of the "COR" Association of Lovers of the Trzebinia Land, which collected its exhibits.
Significant changes occurred in 2004 when the collections were moved to the building of the former miners' bathhouse, and the Permanent Industrial Exhibition was launched. In 2006, an exhibition commemorating the 200th anniversary of mining in the region was opened. The museum's exhibits include mining-related collections such as historical banners, medals, miners' work and formal uniforms, as well as various mining equipment from the closed "Siersza" mine and the "Trzebionka" Mining Plant. The museum also offers archival books and miniature models of mining equipment.
This institution not only documents Trzebinia's rich industrial heritage but also serves as an important cultural landmark in the region, connecting history with education and promoting mining traditions.
