Rudnik Palace

The Rudnik Palace, located in the Racibórz County, is a historic building constructed at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. Architecturally, it represents the Neo-Baroque style, featuring a characteristic two-story structure built on a rectangular plan and covered with a hipped roof. The front part of the palace is distinguished by a two-story projection, crowned with a triangular pediment bearing the coat of arms of the von Selchow family, adding to its artistic and historical value. Surrounding the palace is a park, along with remnants of farm buildings such as a distillery and a cowshed, dating back to the 19th century. The Rudnik Palace not only serves as an example of the rich architecture of its era but also stands as a testament to the history of the von Selchow family and the life in the region over the centuries.
