Rychwał is an urban-rural municipality located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, within the Konin County. The municipality was established in 1954 through the transformation of the former Dąbroszyn commune, with the town of Rychwał serving as its administrative seat. The municipality covers an area of 117.82 km², of which 77% is agricultural land and 15% is forested, reflecting the region's strong agricultural traditions. In 2004, the population was 8,425 inhabitants, and data from 2017 shows dynamic demographic growth.
