wikipedia
The Rzuchów Palace, located in the Racibórz County of the Silesian Voivodeship, was built in 1888 by Heinrich Himmel, who was its first owner. The next owner was Joachim von Klützow. After World War II, the palace suffered significant damage, but thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, it was renovated and for some time served as a state-run children's home. The two-story building stands out with its yellow brick facade and framed windows. On the ground floor, semicircular pediments decorated with stucco shell motifs can be seen. The entrance to the palace is adorned with a semi-circular portal supported by two columns, featuring the coat of arms of the original owners. A distinctive architectural element is the two-story tower topped with a pointed spire, as well as a porch and a bay window with a balcony at the rear. In addition to its preserved architectural details, the palace is surrounded by a landscaped park with exotic shrubs, including a pedunculate oak tree approximately 250 years old, recognized as a natural monument and the only one of its kind in the municipality. The Rzuchów Palace represents a fascinating blend of historical and architectural value, and its surroundings emphasize its significance as a cultural landmark in the region.
