The Sępólno Krajeńskie Municipality, located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship with its seat in Sępólno Krajeńskie, boasts a rich history and abundant natural resources. Established in 1934, it is an urban-rural municipality that belonged to the Bydgoszcz Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998. It covers an area of 229.18 km², of which 61% is agricultural land and 27% is forested. The municipality is home to 15,906 residents (as of 2007) and represents 28.98% of the area of Sępólno County.
