Siedlec Commune, located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship within Wolsztyn County, has roots dating back to earlier years, and between 1975 and 1998, it was part of the Zielona Góra Voivodeship. The seat of the commune is the village of Siedlec. According to data from 2004, the commune had a population of 11,909, which increased to 12,680 by 2017. The commune covers an area of 205.065 km², of which 63% is agricultural land and 27% is forested. Siedlec Commune holds significant importance in the county, accounting for 30.15% of its total area. Demographically, in 2004, the natural population growth was +4.47‰. The commune is divided into numerous village districts, including Belęcin, Godziszewo, Jaromierz, and Tuchorza.
