The Church of St. Adalbert (Kościół Świętego Wojciecha) is a Roman Catholic parish church belonging to the Tomaszów Deanery of the Archdiocese of Łódź. It was built between 1674 and 1676, funded by the Archbishop of Gniezno, Andrzej Olszowski, and consecrated in 1694 by Bishop Jerzy Albrecht Denhoff. An interesting fact is that in 1892, a neo-Baroque style chapel was added to the church, serving as a mausoleum for the Ostrowski family, designed by architect Konstanty Wojciechowski. Over the years, the single-nave church proved insufficient for the growing parish community, which led to the construction of a new, much larger church. The cornerstone was laid in 1987, and the new structure, designed by Aleksy Dworczak, was consecrated by Archbishop Władysław Ziółek on April 23, 1993. Architecturally, the old church is distinguished by its Rococo-style main altar, dating back to the 18th century, and two side altars, also in the Rococo style, depicting well-known saints and biblical motifs. Among its valuable art treasures are a pulpit imported from Italy and a 17th-century baptismal font. The church also houses paintings of renowned saints, including a portrait of Bishop Denhoff. Both churches feature organs, bells, and Stations of the Cross, with interiors furnished in a functional manner. The Church of St. Adalbert is an important element of local culture and history, reflecting the development of Tomaszów society and its religious traditions.
