The Church of St. Stanislaus Kostka in Ścinawka Dolna, erected in 1530 in the Gothic style, is an important historical monument primarily intended for religious and cemetery functions. Its history is linked to an earlier structure that was dismantled in 1904, with the remaining presbytery enclosed by an added wall. Since then, it has served as a cemetery chapel and in recent years has been used occasionally for holding holy masses. Between 1968 and 1974, the church underwent renovation, and in 1983 it was entered into the register of monuments by decision of the provincial conservator. Architecturally, the temple has a rectangular plan and a three-sided closure, covered with a gable roof. An interesting feature is the wall added on the western side with a stepped gable. The interior, with its two-bay rib vault, retains fragments of Baroque furnishings from the 18th century. The surrounding stone wall from the 17th or 18th century testifies to its historical significance and its connection with the local community. The church is not only an important architectural monument but also a witness to the history of the region, reflecting changes related to its use and religious functions.
