Stanisławów is a rural commune located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within the Mińsk County, with its seat in a locality of the same name. The commune covers an area of 106.01 km², of which 64% is agricultural land and 28% is forest land. The demographics of the commune show steady growth, with a population of 6,737 at the end of 2017. The history of Stanisławów dates back to the 16th century when, on May 2, 1523, the Masovian princes granted town rights to the village of Cisek, changing its name to Stanisławów. This foundation was crucial for the development of the locality, especially due to royal privileges. In the 16th and 17th centuries, the town went through various stages of development, but the destruction caused by the Swedish wars led to the loss of its town status, which occurred in 1869. After regaining independence, Stanisławów became part of Mińsk County, and the administrative reform of 1975 transferred it to the Siedlce Voivodeship. Following the changes in 1999, the commune returned to Mińsk County. Stanisławów is also characterized by numerous village administrations, such as Borek Czarniński, Choiny, or Wólka Piecząca. Important transport routes run through the commune's territory, including national road No. 50 and voivodeship road 637, which fosters the economic development of the region. The commune borders five other communes, highlighting its strategic location. It is also worth noting the rich history of the locality, which, despite many upheavals, has a positive developmental dynamic and constitutes an important element of the regional landscape of Masovia.
