Stoszowice

The municipality of Stoszowice, located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship within Ząbkowice Śląskie County, covers an area of 109.82 km², of which 62% is agricultural land and 32% is forested. The municipality plays a significant role in the region, accounting for 13.7% of the county's total area. Historically, between 1975 and 1998, Stoszowice belonged to the Wałbrzych Voivodeship. The administrative seat of the municipality is the village of Stoszowice, surrounded by picturesque forest and farmland. The municipality includes several village districts such as Budzów, Grodziszcze, Jemna, Lutomierz, Mikołajów, Przedborowa, Różana, Rudnica, Srebrna Góra, and Żdanów, along with their associated hamlets. Demographically, the municipality has a stable population, which stood at 5,613 in 2004 and decreased to 5,381 as of December 31, 2019, with only minor fluctuations in subsequent years. Stoszowice is bordered by the municipalities of Bardo, Dzierżoniów, Kłodzko, Nowa Ruda, Piława Górna, and Ząbkowice Śląskie, fostering local cooperation and regional development. The municipality is also known for its rich local culture and traditions, with residents preserving local customs and festivals that attract tourists.
