Szelków Commune, formerly known as Smrock Commune, is a rural administrative district in the Masovian Voivodeship, within Maków County. Between 1975 and 1998, it belonged to the Ostrołęka Voivodeship. Its administrative seat is the village of Stary Szelków. The commune covers an area of 112.93 km², of which 70% is agricultural land and 23% is forested. The commune boasts a rich landscape, making it an attractive place for both residents and tourists.
