wikipedia
The tent base at Wysoka, located in the Małe Pieniny (Little Pieniny) near Jaworki, has been operating since 1985 and is the only facility of its kind in the Pieniny Mountains. Situated at an altitude of 762 meters above sea level on the Za Potok clearing, it offers accommodation for up to 60 people in base tents, as well as space for personal tents. The camp is run by members of the Łódź Student Association of Beskid Mountain Guides and operates exclusively during the summer season (July–August), attracting tourists with its affordable prices and discounts, including for members of the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society (PTTK). The base also has a history of operating a field kitchen. Nearby, there are numerous hiking and horseback riding trails, offering attractive opportunities to explore the area. A popular hiking trail leads from Jaworki through the Homole Gorge to Wysokie Skałki (High Rocks), while a horseback riding trail runs alongside the Biała Woda Nature Reserve. The history of the base dates back to 1982, when it was established by the Academic Tourism Club in the Beskid Wyspowy region. It was later relocated to the Małe Pieniny, where it changed locations several times before finally settling on the Polana Rówienka meadow. An interesting fact is the site's popularity among students and mountain tourism enthusiasts, making it a significant point on the region’s tourist map.
