The "Ślimak" Viewing Platform in Wola Krogulecka

The "Ślimak" Viewing Platform in Wola Krogulecka is a unique spiral-shaped structure, located on Dzielnica Hill (539 meters above sea level) in the Beskid Sądecki mountain range. The open space where it stands is situated at approximately 530 meters above sea level, offering visitors the chance to admire panoramic views from about 200 meters above the Poprad River valley. From the platform, one can see the ranges of the Beskid Sądecki, particularly the Radziejowa Range, as well as the Sądecka Basin, Gorce, and the Beskid Wyspowy. Designed by the architectural firm 55architekci, the structure is a modern architectural achievement that combines functionality with harmonious integration into the surrounding landscape. Visitors have access to a covered fire pit, restrooms, and a small parking area, enhancing the comfort of their experience. The platform was opened to the public on July 2, 2014, and its spiral form draws inspiration from the natural shapes of the surrounding environment.
