The grain granary in Koło, located on the banks of the Warta River in the Old Town district, is a Prussian warehouse dating back to the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. It is the only surviving structure among the numerous granaries that once stood in this area. Many of them were destroyed after World War II, particularly during the construction of the Zremb factory. Architecturally, the granary stands out due to its log-and-girt construction, which was characteristic of such buildings. Currently, the structure serves no practical purpose, although it has previously hosted concerts, including the Koło Blues Festival. Interestingly, the granary was entered into the register of historical monuments on September 22, 1950, highlighting its historical and cultural value. It is one of the oldest immovable monuments in Koło, situated near the Warsaw Bridge on Żelazna Street. Its current condition and architecture are a testament to the region's former glory and building traditions.
