wikipedia
The manor in Jurczyce, located in the Kraków district, is a site of rich history, entered into the register of historical monuments of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. The timber-and-brick manor, whose origins date back to the 17th century, was expanded multiple times. In 1867, it came into the hands of the Haller family, one of whose notable figures was General Józef Haller, born on the estate. After World War II, the manor became the property of the Jagiellonian University, but it was not renovated for years, leading to its partial degradation. In 1997, the property was purchased by Marian Krawczyk, who undertook its reconstruction, breathing new life into the devastated estate. Architecturally, the manor is characterized by its brick-and-timber structure with a gable roof and a wooden porch leading to the entrance. In the first half of the 20th century, an extensive section with a hipped roof was added, adorned with an arcade supported by five columns. The manor is surrounded by a carefully reconstructed park, where the current owners are undertaking efforts to restore the site to its former glory. Jurczyce is gaining significance not only as a tourist attraction but also as a place of cultural value, blending the history of the local aristocracy with the beauty of architecture and nature.
