The Parish of the Divine Mercy in Bielsk Podlaski is a Roman Catholic community located in the Bielsk Podlaski deanery, part of the Drohiczyn Diocese within the Białystok Metropolitan Archdiocese. It was established on September 17, 1989, by Bishop Władysław Jędruszuk, with Father Canon Marian Wyszkowski serving as its first parish priest. The history of the parish dates back to 1987, when efforts to create it began.
The new church, built between 1992 and 2001 according to a design by architect Andrzej Chwalibóg, stands in the southern part of Bielsk Podlaski and serves as an important landmark in the region's religious landscape. The consecration of the church took place on April 21, 2001, presided over by Bishop Antoni Dydycz.
Following Father Wyszkowski, the parish was led by Father Canon Dr. Dariusz Kujawa, and since August 1, 2023, the role of parish priest has been held by Father Canon Mgr. Roman Kowerdziej.
Beyond its religious functions, the parish plays a significant role in the cultural life of the local community, bringing residents together and organizing various initiatives for the common good.
