The Parish of St. Philip Neri and St. John the Baptist in Studzianna belongs to the Opoczno Deanery in the Diocese of Radom and has a rich history dating back to the 13th century. During this period, in Brudzewice—now part of the parish—a church dedicated to St. Nicholas, founded by princes, was established. In the 16th century, Brudzewice were incorporated into the Drzewica parish. Between 1673 and 1674, the Oratorian Fathers (also known as Philippians) settled here and built a wooden church dedicated to the Most Holy Name of Jesus, along with a monastery on Dziewicza Góra Hill. The church was consecrated in 1675, and a settlement named Poświętne developed around the sanctuary. The Church of St. Philip Neri and St. John the Baptist, constructed in the Baroque style between 1688 and 1724, was the work of architects Adam Konarzewski and Tylman van Gameren. It was consecrated in 1748, and the miraculous image was transferred to the new church in 1776. In 1820, the Brudzewice parish was reactivated, and pastoral care was moved to Studzianna. After the dissolution of the Oratorian Order in 1865, diocesan priests took over the care of the parish. The church was renovated following damage sustained during World War I, and in 1920, it was formally named Studzianna. The Oratorian Fathers returned in 1928, and the coronation of the miraculous image took place in 1968, performed by Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński. In 1974, the church was granted the title of Minor Basilica. Architecturally, the brick building with stone elements is typically Baroque. The miraculous image of the Holy Family, painted by an unknown artist, is venerated as the Mother of God of the Holy Family. Territorially, the parish includes numerous localities such as Anielin, Brudzewice, Poświętne, and Małoszyce. The parish holds significant cultural and religious importance for both local residents and pilgrims.
