The Rosary Chapel in Czernichów is a historic monument located on a limestone hill in the municipality of Czernichów, within Kraków County. Built before 1687 through the foundation of Father Wawrzyniec Kamerer, the chapel was erected in connection with the establishment of the Rosary Brotherhood in 1686. Architecturally, it stands out for its regular octagonal shape, with limestone walls made of broken stone, a characteristic feature of the Baroque style. In the 19th century, the sacristy adjoining the chapel was dismantled, and in 2005, due to its poor technical condition, the turret was also removed. The chapel has been entered into the register of immovable monuments of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, underscoring its significance as a cultural element of the region. An interesting fact is that the chapel was created not only as a place of prayer but also as part of a community initiative—the Rosary Brotherhood—which aimed to spiritually strengthen the local community. The site is an important landmark on the historical and religious map of the Kraków area, attracting both the faithful and tourists interested in the region's cultural heritage.
