Trzcińsko-Zdrój is an urban-rural municipality located in the southwestern part of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, within the Gryfino County, with its seat in the town of the same name. In 2016, the municipality had a population of 5,436 and boasts a rich history dating back to medieval times, with architecture reflecting a variety of styles, including Gothic and Renaissance. Among its historic landmarks are churches such as the 18th-century Church of Our Lady of the Rosary in Dobropole, the 13th-century Romanesque Church of St. Stanislaus the Bishop and Martyr in Góralice, and the 15th-century Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Stołeczna. The ruins of the palace in Dobropole and the 1892 palace in Stołeczna also attract history enthusiasts. The municipality is situated in the picturesque Myślibórz Lake District, with its terrain covered by forests and agricultural land, making it ideal for tourism, particularly kayaking on the Tywa River, which originates near Babin. The area also benefits from well-developed transportation infrastructure, including National Road 26. An interesting fact is that Trzcińsko-Zdrój gained railway connectivity as early as 1899, though the line was closed in 1992.
