Trzebielino is a rural commune located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in Bytów County, with its administrative seat in a locality of the same name. The commune covers an area of 225.45 km², of which 32% is agricultural land and 61% is forest land. In 2013, the commune had a population of 3,735, highlighting its rural character. The commune is renowned for its innovation, being the first in Poland to have modernized 100% of its street lighting to LED technology. This is a significant step towards energy savings and improving the quality of public lighting. Between 1975 and 1998, the commune was within the boundaries of the Słupsk Voivodeship, and its neighbors include the communes of Dębnica Kaszubska, Kępice, Kobylnica, Kołczygłowy, and Miastko. Nature conservation in the commune is represented by the Torfowisko Zieliń Miastecki nature reserve, underscoring the care for the region's natural resources.
