Twardogóra

The municipality of Twardogóra, located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in the Oleśnica County, is characterized by a rich demographic structure, with data indicating a population of 12,897 people in 2020. Covering an area of 167.99 km², the municipality consists of 46% agricultural land and 44% forest land, making nature a significant part of its landscape. It is also home to the Torfowisko koło Grabowna Nature Reserve, which protects valuable peat bogs. Over the years, the municipality has undergone changes in its administrative boundaries; before 1998, it was part of the Wrocław Voivodeship. Twardogóra, with its seat in the town of the same name, borders the municipalities of Dobroszyce, Krośnice, Międzybórz, Oleśnica, Sośnie, and Syców.
