Vistula University of Finance and Business

Vistula University of Finance and Business (Vistula AFiB) is a private university based in Warsaw, established in 1991 as the Higher School of Insurance and Banking. The institution gained academy status in 2006, and in 2012, it adopted its current name after merging with Vistula University. Its structure includes diverse faculties, such as the Faculty of Business and International Relations, the Faculty of Philology and Journalism, and the Faculty of Computer Science, Graphics, and Architecture. Vistula AFiB currently educates around 4,350 students from various countries, offering a wide range of degree programs in full-time, part-time, and online modes. The university stands out with its accreditations, including ACCA, which grants its students exemptions from Fundamentals level exams. Vistula AFiB actively collaborates with numerous foreign universities and renowned companies, enabling the integration of theory with practice in education. The campus features modern infrastructure, including a sports hall and facilities adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The university is also engaged in research activities, including topics related to Asia and the New Silk Road. As part of its cultural initiatives, it hosts a Confucius Classroom that promotes Chinese language and culture. The academy also has an active student government and numerous scientific clubs, fostering the development of students' interests. It is worth noting that the university has received numerous awards for internationalization and the quality of education, and its publishing house produces works in economics, finance, and other fields, confirming its significant role in the Polish higher education system.
