Włoszczowa is an urban-rural municipality located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, within the Włoszczowa County. The seat of the municipality is the town of Włoszczowa, which until 1870 operated as the municipality of Nieznanowice. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality was administratively part of the Kielce Voivodeship. The municipality covers an area of 253.7 km², of which 52% is agricultural land and 39% is forest land, making it the largest municipality in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. In 2004, the municipality had a population of 20,487. The demographic structure of the region is diverse, and in 2014, an age pyramid of the residents was presented, providing insight into the demographic dynamics. The municipality includes numerous villages, such as Bebelno-Kolonia, Dąbie, Silpia Duża, and other smaller localities. It borders eight other municipalities, which fosters cultural exchange and regional cooperation. Włoszczowa, with its rich history, is also a place where diverse cultural traditions intertwine, as seen in local festivals and events. The municipality cooperates with its partner city, Le Passage, which may promote the exchange of experiences and cultural practices. An interesting fact is that Włoszczowa has its roots in a time when the area was less known but gradually gained significance, transforming into an important point on the regional map. The municipality also forms a key part of the Świętokrzyskie landscape, combining natural values with agricultural and social functions.
