The municipality of Wasilków, located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, within the Białystok County, is a dynamically developing local government unit with a rich history. It was founded in the 13th century, and the first written mention of Wasilków dates back to 1358. A key moment in the municipality's history was the granting of town rights by King Sigismund Augustus in 1566. With its seat in Wasilków, the municipality was home to 20,361 people in 2022.
