Gmina Wielowieś, located in the Silesian Voivodeship within Gliwice County, is an area rich in history and diverse demographics. Established in December 1945 as a collective municipality, it initially bordered the so-called Recovered Territories. After various administrative changes, it was reactivated in 1973.
