The Zduńska Wola Commune, located in the Łódź Voivodeship within the Zduńska Wola County, is an area characterized by a significant share of agricultural land (70%) and forests (25%). Its total area is 111.54 km², which constitutes 30.21% of the county's territory. Historically, between 1975 and 1998, the commune was part of the Sieradz Voivodeship. The administrative seat of the commune is Zduńska Wola, and according to data from 2004, it was inhabited by 11,162 residents. The commune stands out not only for its rich landscape but also for the presence of two nature reserves: Jabłecznik, which protects forest ecosystems associated with mixed deciduous and coniferous forests, and Wojsławice, known for its forest communities such as ash-alder riparian woodlands. The localities within the commune vary in demographic structure, as illustrated by age pyramid data from 2014. The commune includes numerous villages, such as Annopole Nowe, Karsznice, Wojsławice, and Tymienice, as well as several smaller settlements like Andrzejów and Wiktorów. The surrounding area of the commune is bordered by neighboring communes: Łask, Sędziejowice, Sieradz, Szadek, Warta, and Zapolice, highlighting its strategic location.
