wikipedia
The Skansen Miniatur in Pobiedziska is a unique miniature park that showcases models of important historical buildings and fragments of urban architecture from the towns of Greater Poland. It was established to illustrate the spatial structure of the Piast Route and the process of the development of settlement and Polish statehood. The initiator of the museum was Krzysztof Wojdanowicz, the former mayor of Pobiedziska, and it was opened in May 1998, during the jubilee year of the 950th anniversary of Pobiedziska. The open-air museum features around 35 structures made on a 1:20 scale, with some miniatures created as early as 1994. The site is located along the Poznań–Gniezno route, in a strategic location between these two cities, right next to the Pobiedziska Stronghold, which is a reconstruction of an ancient settlement. The museum's gallery includes, among others, miniatures of the Rogalin Palace, the Raczyński Library, the Church of St. Adalbert, the Market Square in Pobiedziska, the Palace in Czerniejewo, and the Market Square in Poznań. The Skansen is not only a tourist attraction but also an educational site that brings local history and architecture closer to visitors and engages them in discovering the cultural heritage of the region.
