Łęczna is an urban-rural municipality located in the Lublin Voivodeship, within the Łęczna County, with its seat in the town of Łęczna. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality belonged to the Lublin Voivodeship and is characterized by a high population density, making it the most populous urban-rural municipality in the region—in 2017, it was home to 23,462 people. The municipality covers an area of 74.9 km², of which 82% is agricultural land and 4% is forested.
