Bielawa

Bielawa, located in the Lower Silesian district of Dzierżoniów, is a town with a rich history dating back to the 13th century, when it was first mentioned in 1288. In the past, the settlement was under Czech rule and later underwent various transformations, including Protestantization in the 16th century. The town is home to many valuable architectural landmarks, including the neo-Gothic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Baroque houses, as well as the Sandrecki Palace. Bielawa is known for its beautiful natural surroundings, nestled at the foot of the Owl Mountains, with a tourist center offering hiking and skiing trails.
