Bledzew is a rural commune located in the Lubusz Voivodeship, within the Międzyrzecz County. Its administrative seat is situated in the town of Bledzew, which also serves as the historical center of the region. Between 1975 and 1998, the commune was part of the Gorzów Voivodeship. According to data from June 30, 2004, the commune had a population of 4,632. The total area of the commune is 247.58 km², of which 35% is agricultural land and 57% is forested, highlighting its natural richness.
