The Bodzanów Commune, known until 1946 as the Mąkolin Commune, is an urban-rural municipality located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within Płock County. Its administrative seat is in Chodkowo, although the previous seat in Bodzanów was changed to the current one on January 1, 2021. The commune covers an area of 136.81 km², of which 74% is agricultural land and 17% is forested. In 2004, the commune had a population of 8,394 inhabitants, a figure that reflects demographic changes, such as the age pyramid, indicating the community's age diversity. The commune includes many villages, such as Archutówko, Białobrzegi, Bodzanów, Chodkowo, Garwacz, Krawieczyn, Mąkolin, and many others, highlighting its territorial diversity.
