The Brochów Commune, located in the Masovian Voivodeship, Sochaczew County, has its administrative seat in the village of Brochów. Until the end of 1995, it operated under the name of the Tułowice Commune, with its seat in Tułowice, and as of January 1, 1996, it changed its name to Brochów. The commune covers an area of 116.76 km², of which 53% is agricultural land and 38% is forest land, making it an area with a diverse natural structure. As of June 30, 2004, the commune was inhabited by 4,234 residents. Brochów Commune has a historical and tourist character, featuring a unique 16th-century fortified church and memorial sites related to the Battle of the Bzura. It is also worth noting the Sochaczew Museum Railway, which offers narrow-gauge rides on the Sochaczew–Wilcze Tułowskie route. The commune is also a place where one can explore the natural beauty of the Kampinos Forest and spend time along the Bzura River and the Łasica canal-river. The commune cooperates with local transport providers, offering residents convenient connections to Sochaczew. The local sports club, Tajfun Brochów, operates here, reflecting the community's active engagement. The area also includes other localities, such as Tułowice and Janów, which enrich the local culture and history.
