wikipedia
Bacówka Brzanka, formerly known as Bacówka PTTK na Brzance, is a tourist shelter located at an altitude of 508 meters above sea level near the summit of Mount Brzanka in the Ciężkowickie Foothills, within the Brzanka Range Landscape Park. The facility was opened by the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society (PTTK) in 1981. Currently managed by private owners, the shelter offers 28 overnight accommodations, a dining area with a buffet, a cozy fireplace, and three sanitary units, making it an attractive destination for tourists. The surrounding recreational area features volleyball courts, a bonfire site, a brick barbecue grill, and a parking lot. Not far from the shelter stands a viewing tower, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Numerous hiking trails lead to Bacówka Brzanka from towns such as Tuchów, Ryglice, Czermna, Lubaszowa, Siedliska, and Ciężkowice, making it an ideal spot for hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers. Access to the shelter is facilitated by an asphalt road from Jodłówka Tuchowska, attracting visitors seeking tranquility and the beauty of the Subcarpathian nature. Bacówka Brzanka combines architectural, historical, and cultural values, serving as an important point on the regional tourist map. Interestingly, despite the change in management, the shelter has retained its traditional atmosphere, drawing both tourists and local nature enthusiasts.
