The municipality of Tuchów, located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship within Tarnów County, is an urban-rural municipality with its seat in the town of Tuchów. According to data from December 31, 2019, the municipality has a population of 17,916. Tuchów covers an area of 100.14 km², a significant portion of which is occupied by agricultural land (65%) and forested areas (23%). The municipality constitutes 7.07% of the area of Tarnów County. It includes numerous villages such as Buchcice, Burzyn, Dąbrówka Tuchowska, and others.
