The Church of Our Lady of Sorrows and St. Andrew the Apostle in Strzegom is a historic wooden temple built in 1595, dedicated to St. Andrew the Apostle. Located in the Staszów County, it belongs to the Diocese of Sandomierz. Architecturally, the church features a three-nave structure made of larch wood using log construction techniques and is non-oriented. Its shingle roof is adorned with a Baroque-style bell turret. The church was expanded in the 1930s and underwent renovation in 2010. The interior boasts 17th-century late Renaissance wood paneling and 19th-century polychrome paintings, along with historic elements such as a Renaissance main altar and Baroque side altars dedicated to the Transfiguration of Jesus and St. Nicholas. Notable artifacts include a stone baptismal font from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries and a statue of the Risen Christ, which is housed in the Diocesan Museum in Sandomierz. The church grounds also feature a wooden bell tower from the 1930s, containing three bells, including one Gothic bell from the 15th century. The church stands as an example of local cultural and architectural heritage, attracting both residents and tourists with its rich history and preserved features.
