Ciechanowski Palace

The Ciechanowski Palace, located in Grodziec, a district of Będzin, is a classicist structure built in the 1830s at the request of Jan Ciechanowski, designed by architect Franciszek M. Lanci. Currently, it serves as a Social Welfare Home. The park surrounding the palace is one of the best-preserved woodlands in the region, designed in the English style, where one can encounter 20 trees recognized as natural monuments, including ash trees, hornbeams, beeches, maples, and an old 30-meter tall pedunculate oak. The palace and its surroundings reflect not only the rich history of the Ciechanowski family but also the significant cultural importance of the area. It is worth noting that the palace and park form a valuable part of Będzin's natural and architectural heritage, attracting the attention of history and architecture enthusiasts, as well as nature lovers. Interestingly, despite the transformations the areas around the palace have undergone, its stunning architecture and unique park remain a testament to the former splendor of this place.
