The Deszczno Commune, located in the Lubusz Voivodeship, Gorzów County, is a rural administrative unit with its seat in the village of Deszczno. Until 1954, it operated as the Zieleniec Commune, and between 1975 and 1998, it belonged to the Gorzów Voivodeship. As of the end of 2019, it had a population of 9,942. The commune covers an area of 168.35 km², of which 50% is agricultural land and 40% is forest land.
