Dolsk is an urban-rural municipality in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, within Śrem County, with its administrative seat located in the town of Dolsk itself. The municipality boasts a rich history dating back to before 1939, when it encompassed both the town of Dolsk and the rural commune of Jaskółki. Between 1975 and 1998, Dolsk was part of the Poznań Voivodeship, which significantly influenced the development of local administration and infrastructure.
