The municipality of Mrozy, established on January 1, 2014, through the merger of the former municipalities of Kuflew and Jeruzal, is located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within the Mińsk County, covering an area of 145 km², with its seat in the town of Mrozy. The history of the region dates back to the times of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, when this area belonged to the Czersk Land. In the 19th century, following the construction of the Warsaw-Brest road and the railway in 1866, settlement development accelerated, and Mrozy became attractive to German colonists and Jews, which enriched its ethnic structures. During the interwar period, Mrozy had an extensive network of services, including mills, factories, and other craft workshops, as well as a school and a pharmacy. During World War II, the residents actively participated in the resistance movement, highlighting their patriotism. After the war, the municipality accelerated its development; new public facilities, roads, and infrastructure were built. The municipality of Mrozy is also an important cultural center, with a diversity of traditions present, and its residents can boast active participation in organizing community events. Modern Mrozy prides itself on well-developed infrastructure, including water supply and sewage systems, which enhance the quality of life for its inhabitants. The region is known for its rich cultural heritage, visible in its architectural monuments, memorials, and local traditions, making Mrozy an attractive place both to live in and to visit. It is also worth noting that the municipality has numerous village administrations (sołectwa), which foster local activity and social integration. The residents take pride in their community, which is reflected in their engagement in local life and in preserving the history and traditions of the region.
