The Głuchów municipality is located in the Łódź Voivodeship, within the Skierniewice County, with its seat in the town of Głuchów. According to data from December 31, 2019, the municipality had a population of 5,724. Głuchów covers an area of 111.31 km², predominantly consisting of agricultural land (84%) and forested areas (11%). The municipality occupies 14.72% of the total area of the county. It is also home to part of the Rawka Nature Reserve, which protects the riverbed of the Rawka River along with its tributaries.
In terms of demographics, data from 2002 shows that the average income per capita was 1,244.27 PLN. In 2014, a study was conducted on the age structure of the inhabitants, which may have contributed to better planning of local policies.
