Brzeziński County, located in the Łódź Voivodeship, was established on January 1, 2002. Its seat is the town of Brzeziny, which boasts a rich architectural heritage, including the Gothic-style Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross with the Lasocki Chapel, and the 18th-century Reformat Monastery complex. The county is home to numerous historic religious sites, including Old Catholic Mariavite churches. Culturally, the region is notable for the dominance of Mariavitism, making it one of the areas with the lowest percentage of Roman Catholic population in Poland. Nature conservation is significant in Brzeziński County, with part of its area occupied by the Landscape Park of the Łódź Hills, featuring numerous nature reserves and living monuments, which attracts nature enthusiasts. A notable attraction is the Rogów Arboretum, known for its extensive dendrological collections and alpine garden.
