Sława is an urban-rural municipality located in the Lubusz Voivodeship, within the Wschowa County, with its administrative seat in the town of Sława. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality belonged to the Zielona Góra Voivodeship. The municipality covers an area of 326.78 km², of which 41% is agricultural land and 49% is forested. In 2004, the population of the municipality was 12,144, and by 2020 it had increased to 12,639.
