Gościeradów is a rural municipality located in the Lublin Voivodeship, within the Kraśnik County, with its administrative seat in Gościeradów Ukazowy. From 1975 to 1998, the municipality belonged to the Tarnobrzeg Voivodeship. According to data from June 30, 2004, the municipality had a population of 7,411. The area is home to important nature reserves, such as the Doły Szczeckie Reserve, which protects unique rock formations and natural beech forests, and the Marynopole Reserve, focused on preserving fir tree stands. The municipality covers an area of 158.56 km², of which 52% is agricultural land and 42% is covered by forests. Gościeradów constitutes 15.77% of the area of Kraśnik County. It includes numerous village administrative units (sołectwa), such as Gościeradów Os. POM and Mniszek, as well as settlements without such status, like Agatówka and Sosnowa Wola. The region has historically been associated with agriculture and forestry, as well as a rich regional culture. The municipality borders other municipalities, such as Annopol and Zaklików, fostering cultural exchange and local cooperation. Interestingly, the area holds natural secrets that attract nature enthusiasts and ecotourism.
