Kraśnik County

Kraśnik County, established in 1999 as a result of the administrative reform, is located in the Lublin Voivodeship, in the southwestern part of the region, within the area of the Western Roztocze and Urzędów Uplands. Its seat is the town of Kraśnik, which boasts a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages and is home to numerous historical monuments, including the Church of St. Bartholomew. The county also includes urban and rural municipalities, such as Annopol and Urzędów, which also feature historical sites like ancient churches and remnants of medieval fortifications. The region is home to several nature reserves, including Natalin and Marynopole, highlighting its natural richness and appeal to tourists. Kraśnik County is renowned for its strong agricultural tradition, with dominant soft fruit cultivation and orcharding, as well as its metal industry and brickworks.
