Dziadkowice is a rural municipality located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, within the Siemiatycze County. The municipal seat, also named Dziadkowice, boasts rich traditions of Polish rural life, reflected in the architecture of its brick and wooden houses typical of the region. The municipality is characterized by diverse landscapes, dominated by agricultural land (61%) and forests (33%). In 2004, it was home to 3,095 people, with varied age groups, as can be observed in the population's age pyramid. Dziadkowice is surrounded by other municipalities, such as Boćki and Siemiatycze, which fosters cooperation among local communities. The settlements where the population resides include various villages, such as Hornowo, Zaminowo, and Jasieniówka, indicating a scattered pattern of development. Interestingly, within the municipality, there are villages without formal settlement status, such as Chrościanka, which is unusual in this region. The history of the municipality dates back to the early administrative years, when from 1975 to 1998 it belonged to the Białystok Voivodeship, highlighting the organizational changes in state administration.
