The Hanka Bielicka Bench in Łomża is a monument dedicated to the renowned actress and cabaret artist, unveiled on November 11, 2007. Since June 12, 2023, it has been located in the newly revitalized Old Market Square, having previously been situated on Farna Street. The monument symbolizes Bielicka's connections with Łomża, where she spent her childhood and youth during the interwar period of the Second Polish Republic. The unveiling ceremony was attended by its benefactors, including Roman Engler, Jan Kurpiewski, and Marek Mackiewicz, and the event was held under the honorary patronage of the City President, Jerzy Brzeziński. The sculpture, created by Michał Selerowski, is made of bronze and depicts the artist wearing a large hat, sitting on a bench, with Hanna Bielicka's signature engraved on the backrest. The monument combines cultural significance, associated with Hanka Bielicka, who is regarded as one of the icons of the Polish cabaret scene, with the architectural value of a new landmark in the urban space. This site has also become a tourist attraction, drawing both locals and visitors who wish to honor the artist's memory and relax in the newly developed Old Market Square.
