wikipedia
The Church of the Holy Trinity in Supraśl, located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, is one of two Roman Catholic churches in the town and belongs to the Wasilków Deanery of the Archdiocese of Białystok. The history of this temple dates back to 1849, when the tsarist authorities granted permission for its construction. The church was built between 1861 and 1863, funded by local industrialists. After construction was completed, the church was consecrated in 1868. In the following years, between 1902 and 1903, a tower, a porch, a choir, and two sacristies were added to the structure, contributing to its development and transforming it into an important religious space. Starting in 1865, the church was documented as a chapel, and from 1868, it served as a subsidiary church of the parish in Białystok. It only gained the status of a parish church in 1906. Architecturally, the temple was designed in the Neo-Baroque style, featuring a rectangular plan with a single nave, a closed altar apse, and a gable roof. The Church of the Holy Trinity not only serves a religious function but is also a significant cultural element of the region, symbolizing the history and changes that have taken place in Supraśl over the years.
